Documentary film maker KEN BURNS is currently working on a film about the history of Country music.
According to the film’s producer partner, DAYTON DUNCAN, the project will feature interviews from Country icons such as LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS, musician and producer HAROLD BRADLEY and more.
We’ve done films about uniquely AMERICAN ideas and things that help tell us who we are as AMERICANS. Country music really combines both of those things. It’s an AMERICAN art form that helps you understand what AMERICA is,” said DUNCAN.
BURNS and DUNCAN are currently working on the project, although they estimate that it may take up to five years to make. For more information, click here.
