TONIGHT's 12-12-12 benefit concert at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN will arguably feature the biggest lineup of music talent ever in one show. Many might argue for WOODSTOCK or LIVE AID, but the 12-12-12 show will feature performances by PAUL MCCARTNEY, THE ROLLING STONES, THE WHO, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND, BON JOVI, ERIC CLAPTON, DAVE GROHL, BILLY JOEL and other rockers.
It will also many of today's biggest artists, such as KANYE WEST.
Ten years ago, THE ROBIN HOOD RELIEF FUND also sponsored a big show at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN -- that one in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. That show brought in more than $35 million. TONIGHT (12/12), many of those artists same will be returning to the GARDEN to help raise funds to help those devistated by the recent Superstorm Hurricane Sandy.
Thirty-seven American television networks, including NBC, HBO and, SHOWTIME will stream the show. SIRIUS XM satellite radio and all CCM+E/NEW YORK radio stations will also broadcast the concert.
