ENTERCOM Talk WORD-A and WYRD-A/F (NEWS RADIO WORD)/GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG, SC is breaking up its morning show. Starting JAN. 2nd, morning co-host LISA ROLLINS will stay on to team with current afternoon-drive news anchor LEE ROGERS to host "The Upstate Morning News" from 5-8a. ROLLINS' co-host RUSS CASSELL will fly solo with a 8a-noon show.
"We feel that using the Upstate’s best-known morning show hosts in these new roles will give us more time to provide South Carolinians the best local, state and national news they need to begin their day," ENTERCOM Upstate Dir./News and Programming BOB MCLAIN said.
The moves come after 10-nooner MIKE GALLAGHER crossed the street to work at new SALEM FM Talk WMUU (CONSERVATIVE TALK 94.5)/GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG, SC.
