SIRIUSXM RADIO has scheduled an extensive lineup of live concerts, DJ sets and a New Year's Eve music channel to ring in the New Year. "No matter what your New Year's Eve tradition, you can experience the best music from various genres in the car, at home or on the move," SIRIUSXM Pres./Chief Content Officer SCOTT GREENSTEIN said. "All of us at SIRIUSXM wish our listeners a happy, healthy and music-filled New Year."
Live concert broadcasts include WILLIE NELSON from AUSTIN CITY LIMITS LIVE (Willie's Roadhouse, channel 56); GREGG ALLMAN in NEW ORLEANS (Classic Vinyl, channel 26); WIDESPREAD PANIC in CHARLOTTE, NC (Jam_On, channel 29); THE LUMINEERS in DENVER (The Spectrum, channel 28); SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY in RED BANK, NJ (E Street Radio, channel 20); and LITTLE FEAT's concert in WASHINGTON, DC (Radio Margaritaville, channel 24).
Live DJ sets by AFROJACK, R3HAB, QUINTINO, ARTY (BPM, channel 51); ARMIN VAN BUUREN (Electric Area, channel 52); AVICII (BPM, channel 51); DADA LIFE, DENIZ KOYU, BASSJACKERS (Tiesto's Club Life Radio, channel 340); and ERIC PRYDZ from SURRENDER (Electric Area, channel 52).
Real Jazz, channel 67, presents NPR's annual "Toast of the Nation" featuring jazz performances from WYNTON MARSALIS, JOHN SCOFIELD, DEE ALEXANDER and GORDON GOODWIN'S BIG PHAT BAND.
The Pulse, channel 10, will broadcast performances from ALANIS MORISSETTE, GAVIN DEGRAW, GRACE POTTER and PALOMA FAITH; The Spectrum, channel 28, will air THE AVETT BROTHERS' New Year's Eve performance immediately following the live Lumineers broadcast.
New Year's Nation, channel 3, will feature the biggest, upbeat party hits from genres across SIRIUSXM's music platform. The channel will launch on MONDAY, DECEMBER 31st at 3p ET and will air through TUESDAY, JANUARY 1st at 6p ET.
