Spin Magazine Halts Print Production

In yet another sign of the digital times, longtime rock culture publication, SPIN MAGAZINE, has halting production after 27 years, reports MASHABLE.COM. The publication, which is owned by BUZZMEDIA, broke the news to subscribers on FRIDAY (12/21).

The magazine, which was launched by BOB GUCCIUONE, JR in 1985, was acuired by online-based BUZZMEDIA in July. The company soon laid off 11 employees and shifted from monthly to bimonthly publication while lowering its rate base from 450,000 to 350,000.
