ALL ACCESS has heard from several sources that TAMPA radio legend JON "ROCK N’ ROLL" ANTHONY" passed away peacefully in his home in BRANDON, FL on DEC 29th from a lengthy illness.

ANTHONY started in radio at WDAL/MERIDIAN, MS in 1973. His career included stops in BIRMINGHAM, AL; MILWAUKEE, MEMPHIS, DES MOINES, NASHVILLE, WASHINGTON, DC and BOSTON before he landed at WRBQ/TAMPA in 1985. Four years later, he crossed the street to WFLZ, where he spent the next 15 years. During that time up to now, ANTHONY has done voice work for numerous stations in a variety of formats.
