Ron Burman Named Pres. Of Mascot Records & MLG North America

MASCOT LABEL GROUP announces the hiring of RON BURMAN as Pres. of MASCOT RECORDS and the MASCOT LABEL GROUP, NORTH AMERICA. BURMAN was previously SVP/A&R at ROADRUNNER RECORDS, where he spent 15 years and signed NICKELBACK, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, BLACK STONE CHERRY, among others.  BURMAN will helm the expansion of MASCOT's NEW YORK office into a fully-fledged operation.

"I am very proud and excited to have RON join our company,” said MASCOT Founder/Owner ED VAN ZIJL.  "With his experience and expertise, RON will be able to help MLG achieve its goal of becoming a front-running independent rock label."
