THE CLASSIC ROCK SOCIETY OF AMERICA (CRSA) partnered with LIVE NATION to promote the first-ever YESTIVAL, an all-day music festival that featured progressive rock groups YES, RENAISSANCE, CARL PALMER’s ELP LEGACY and more, on AUGUST 3rd at the SUSQUEHANNA BANK CENTER in CAMDEN, NJ.
Using its CRSA embeddable player on LIVE NATION partner radio stations’ websites, CRSA featured audio and video interviews to fuel advance ticket sales to the event. On-site, CRSA used a combination of its archived interviews, footage of past performances, and access to progressive rock album art and signed lithographs to give Yestival attendees a multi-media fan experience.
"CRSA brought another dimension to YESTIVAL beyond the live performance," LIVE NATION's JIM SUTCLIFFE noted, "a place where fans can go to celebrate Classic Rock’s history while at the same time, embracing contemporary aspects of the music! Sites like CRSA are exciting, vital and, to me, what the Classic Rock world really needs."
"We are very excited that LIVE NATION chose CRSA as its promotional partner for YESTIVAL," CRSA Pres. DEBBIE DURBEN said. "This was our first venture in a live event partnership, and as we roll out CRSA, we plan to deliver more Classic Rock experiences for fans."
CRSA’s player was embedded on LIVE NATION radio partner websites, including WMGK/PHILADELPHIA, WZXL/ATLANTIC CITY and WEZX/SCRANTON, PA.
