EMF Sells Two Pennsylvania FM Translators

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling FM translators W231BM/CLAIRTON. PA and W248AR/MONROEVILLE, PA to BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $310,000.

In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K208DH/AMARILLO, TX due to equipment problems.

ELIZABETH GONZALEZ has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator K229BJ/HOLLYWOOD PARK, TX while it seeks a new primary station to rebroadcast.

PACIFICA FOUNDATION, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K209FI/HUNTSVILLE,TX due to interference with a co-channel full-power station.

And COCHISE MEDIA LICENSES LLC has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for KMXQ/SOCORRO, NM to allow the licensee "to reconfigure the operational aspects of the station."

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, CURTIS MEDIA affiliate EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC is buying FM translator W267AM/MOCKSVILLE, NC from TRI-AD FAMILY NETWORK INC. for $150,000.  The station holds a construction permit to move to WINSTON-SALEM with 250 watts and will rebroadcast CURTIS MEDIA Talk WSJS-A/WINSTON-SALEM. BOB HEYMANN of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP served as the exclusive broker representing the buyer in the transaction.

In another deal yet to appear in the FCC database, MAX MEDIA OF ARKANSAS LLC/MMA LICENSE LLC is selling Country KCJC (RIVER COUNTRY 102.3) and Talk-Sports KCAB-A/DARDANELLE, AR; AC KWKK (RIVER HITS 100.9)/RUSSELLVILLE, AR; Classic Rock KVLD (SHARPE 99.3)/ATKINS, AR; and Sports KVOM-A (ESPN 800) and Country KVOM-F/MORRILTON, AR to BOBBY CALDWELL's EAB OF RUSSELLVILLE, LLC for an undisclosed price.  KALIL AND CO. represented EAB in the deal.

Another deal yet to land in the database is COCHISE BROADCASTING LLC's sale of Adult Standards KOMJ-A (MAGIC 1490 AM)/OMAHA, NE to VIC MICHAELS' KONA COAST RADIO LLC for an undisclosed price.  KALIL AND CO. was the exclusive broker for the deal.
