The FCC has arrived at a consent decree with the REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO over underwriting announcement violations at noncommercial KUNM/ALBUQUERQUE and its repeaters KBOM/SOCORRO, KRRE/LAS VEGAS, NM, KRRT/ARROYO SECO, and KRAR/ESPANOLA.
The announcements in question carried prohibited calls for action promoting for-profit entities. The licensee will pay a "contribution" to the U.S. Treasury of $7,500 to settle the matter.
