Double Surprise On WBSN/New Orleans

JULIE HEADRICK & LIBBY CARVER are teaming up weekday mornings on PROVIDENCE EDUCATIONAL Contemporary Christian WBSN (89.1 LifeSongs Radio)/NEW ORLEANS.

JULIE explains, "I have a friend to keep me company early in the mornings now! And I do mean “a friend.” LIBBY is now joining me on the morning show!  LIBBY and I have known each other for 16 years and worked together for 13 years. Immediately we noticed (and found it quite peculiar) that we often responded to things in the exact same way with the exact same vocal inflection. And I very clearly remember when LIBBY said she knew we'd be friends. We were at lunch. I had completely drained my diet coke and she her coke – before the waiter even took our order. Carbonated beverage allies!"

JULIE continues, "Over the years, our friendship has been built on a stronger foundation than soda. Thankfully! We've prayed each other through life changing events – hurricanes (we even evacuated with our families and pets and lived together for 3 months during Hurricane Katrina), meeting & marrying our husbands, the birth of my son Finn, and more.  It's always been a dream of ours to do the morning show together. Who wouldn't want to spend 4 hours a day, chatting with their friends, and listening to uplifting music!?!"
