Ryan Benes Named PD Of 87.7 Cleveland's Sound; Sean 'Bull' Robertson Upped To MD

VENTURE TECHNOLOGIES Alternative WLFM-LP/CLEVELAND ups RYAN BENES to PD of 87.7 CLEVELAND’S SOUND replacing KIM MONROE, who exited earlier this month (NET NEWS 8/1). BENES  previously worked in the market at CLEAR CHANNEL and CBS, until coming aboard as Production Director for the start of 87.7.

BENES said, “For the past year we’ve generated some serious noise, keeping things local and music focused, acting as a counterpart to corporate stations. The plan is to take things to the next level as we continue to catch fire.”

In addition, CLEVELAND radio veteran SEAN “BULL” ROBERTSON takes over MD Duties in addition to his midday program.
