Alternative 96X Debuts In Santa Rosa

New Station In Sonoma County

SINCLAIR Adult Hits KNOB (96.7 BOB-FM)/SANTA ROSA, CA has flipped to Alternative as "SONOMA COUNTY'S NEW ALTERNATIVE 96X" under PD DRAY LOPEZ, who continues to program sister Top 40 KSXY (Y100.9).  The station is running jockless for the next few weeks.

LOPEZ told ALL ACCESS, "I'm am very excited and honored to take on a new project for SINCLAIR COMMUNICATIONS/WINE COUNTRY RADIO out here in SONOMA COUNTY along with our APD BRANDON GREEN, who has been doing a phenomenal job getting the music and imaging together. The market lost a huge heritage rock station a few years ago, and there has been nothing in the area catering to any type of rock sound except for the Classic Rock station. That's where we come in!  We are both looking forward to making this station a staple right here in SONOMA COUNTY."
