PERRY ELLIOTT has been released as Receiver for MANDATORY BROADCASTING, INC, licensee of Silent KWBY-F (formerly KCUB and KLQM)/RANGER, TX. Control of MANDATORY BROADCASTING was assigned to MARION COLE, executrix of her late husband GROVER CLEVELAND COLE III's estate, by court order against JOHN HOLLINGER, former President and minority shareholder of the company. The company filed to sell the station to HIGH PLAINS RADIO NETWORK, LLC for $163,000 in MARCH.

And LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, INC. has closed on the sale of the construction permit for FM translator W231CJ/ROANOKE, VA to CALVARY CHAPEL OF ROANOKE for $20,000.
In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, III & W BROADCASTING LLC is buying Silent KHLB and KZZM/MASON, TX from MUNBILLA BROADCASTING PROPERTIES LTD. for $130,000. A previous sale of KHLB to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION never closed. BILL WHITLEY of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP served as exclusive broker representing the seller in the deal.
