WSIX 'Guitar-B-Que' Raises $7,000 For St. Jude

CLEAR CHANNEL Country WSIX/NASHVILLE’s raised nearly $7,000 at its 2nd annual “GUITAR-B-QUE” last WEDNESDAY (8/14), benefitting ST. JUDE CHILDREN’s RESEARCH HOSPITAL.
More than 2,000 listeners attended the event which was hosted by PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS’ syndicated personality and WSIX morning host, BOBBY BONES. Performances included RODNEY ATKINS, CHRIS JANSON, CRAIG CAMPBELL, THE HENNINGSENS, PARMALEE and DEE JAY SILVER.
This year’s total nearly doubled the amount raised from last YEAR’s inaugural event.
"The GUITAR-B-QUE is a great way for the community to have fun while raising money for an amazing cause," said CLEAR CHANNEL/NASHVILLE OM MICHAEL BRYAN. "The Big 98 WSIX and its listeners are committed to helping ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL and we are proud to support its lifesaving work."
