WPOI To Stage Inaugural 'Hot Run'

Where Being 'On The Beach' Is A Good Thing

COX RADIO Top 40/Mainstream WPOI (The NEW HOT 101.5)/TAMPA will hold its inaugural  "Hot Run" at PASS-A-GRILLE on ST. PETE BEACH on THURSDAY evening, SEPT. 19th at sunset. This scenic run will kick off at 7:20p and will feature a water side course, a live commercial-free broadcast for runners to enjoy during the race, and many other runner experiences.

The Hot Run will also feature "Hot Zones" with live DJs, club lighting, and a blast of cold air to cool runners. The course of the HOT RUN is accurately measured and certified by USATF, and finisher medals will be awarded. It will also feature a post-run party at the legendary HURRICANE RESTAURANT with complimentary food and beverage for runners.

"Since its inception in 2011, HOT 101.5 has provided TAMPA BAY with a unique entertainment experience. The Hot Run will take the HOT experience our listeners love and evolve the typical 5k/10k race into a great experience for pro and fun runners alike," WPOI PD TIM CLARKE said.
