Indie rocker, BEN KWELLER, has hired longtime manager/industry veteran KEVIN WOMMACK to serve as President of KWELLER's record label, THE NOISE COMPANY. To help run it, WOMMACK has brought in MARY JUREY and EMMY BLACK, who previously worked at NEW WEST RECORDS and BAR NONE RECORDS, respectively.
"I'm an Artist. That's what I am," KWELLER said. "No way around it. Yeah, the record nerd in me enjoys brainstorming marketing ideas or thinking about new ways to release music through NOISE CO, but I don't want to run it. I can't run it."
"BEN is an extremely creative artist with great vision and energy. I'm thrilled to be on the team," WOMMACK said.
