WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE President/CEO JOHN ESPOSITO has been name to head a 10-member selection committee, which will conduct a search for the next executive leader of the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA). The committee’s eventual choice will succeed the CMA’s former CEO STEVE MOORE, who stepped down in JULY (NET NEWS 7/1).
ESPOSITO is a member of the CMA Board of Directors and serves as the organization’s Secretary/Treasurer. His search committee is comprised of veteran CMA board members representing a cross-section of CMA membership.
“CMA was created to advance Country music around the globe and represent the business interests of all our constituent groups,” said CMA Board President ED HARDY. “This search provides CMA a tremendous opportunity to evaluate our evolving needs, select the ideal leader to address them, and execute the best strategy for continued growth. It’s also an attractive opportunity for a senior level executive with a passion for the industry.”
