CBS RADIO Sports WIP-F/PHILADELPHIA will air the annual EAGLES RADIOTHON on SEPTEMBER 3rd and 4th, raising funds for the EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP. For 36 hours, fans will be given the opportunity to bid on sports and entertainment prizes, including trips to see the EAGLES play in GREEN BAY, assisting new Head Coach CHIP KELLY during a practice, watching the PHILLIES with EAGLES quarterback MICHAEL VICK in a CITIZENS BANK PARK suite, and tickets to the SUPER BOWL in the MEADOWLANDS in FEBRUARY.
“The EAGLES RADIOTHON is one of our most anticipated events of the year,” said EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP Exec. Dir. SARAH MARTINEZ-HELFMAN. “This is a special fundraiser because so many win. Bidders win experiences of a lifetime with their favorite EAGLES players and WIP personalities. Listeners get great radio over those two days. And kids who are struggling against the odds get eyeglasses, books and playgrounds from the money we raise. I want to thank SPORTSRADIO 94WIP for so generously hosting the EAGLES RADIOTHON over the years. We thank them, our fans and the entire PHILADELPHIA community for the support.”
“This longstanding partnership between SPORTSRADIO 94WIP and the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES has benefited both sides greatly over the years,” said CBS RADIO/PHILADELPHIA SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD. “We recognize that EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP is out in our communities, schools and neighborhoods making a significant impact on our city’s youth through its various health and education programs. At 94WIP, we want to leverage this annual event as an opportunity to contribute to EYP’s steadfast mission.”
