NATE MARINO will join syndicated CCM+E morning star ELVIS DURAN's morning show as its new Senior Executive Producer, effective September 30, 2013. MARINO joins from sister Hot AC KBIG (104.3 MYfm)/LOS ANGELES, where he previously served as Exec. Producer of "Valentine in the Morning." His past experience also includes roles at CCM+E Top 40 KIIS/LOS ANGELES as part of "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" and "American Top 40."
MARINO will join Exec. Producers SKEERY JONES and DAVID BRODY. In addition, BRODY will expand his duties to include preparation and content development for morning shows nationwide as part of PREMIERE NETWORKS.
"Being a great producer means knowing the map and keeping the cars in the correct lanes and rolling at the proper speed -- this show has a lot of cars," said DURAN. "NATE's experience and warmth make him the perfect choice for this very important position. We're excited to bring NATE on as Senior Executive Producer to work with our very talented existing Executive Producers, SKEERY JONES and DAVID BRODY."
"Having already worked with radio greats RYAN SEACREST and SEAN VALENTINE, in my mind there is arguably only one other person at that level, and that is ELVIS DURAN. He was my inspiration to get into radio in the first place and to work with him is a dream come true," said MARINO. "I look forward to working with the 'ELVIS DURAN AND THE MORNING SHOW' team to continue raising the bar of excellence and help make a great show even more outstanding."
"I am such a fan of NATE and his work, and really look forward to him bringing his talents to Z100 and 'ELVIS DURAN AND THE MORNING SHOW,'" said WHTZ (Z100)/NEW YORK PD SHARON DASTUR.
