Condolences to family and friends of former AUBURN, IN radio station owner WAYNE PARADISE, who died MONDAY (9/9) at 76, according to INDIANA RADIO WATCH.
PARADISE launched WIFF/AUBURN in 1967 and added WIFF-A in 1968. The stations, now Religion WGLL-A and Regional Mexican WGBJ, were sold along with LPTV W07CL to FRANK KOVAS in 1995; PARADISE also served as GM of Religion WINM-TV/ANGOLA-FORT WAYNE, IN.
Memorial visitation will be FRIDAY 2-4p and 6-8p at PINNINGTON-MCCOMB FUNERAL HOME in AUBURN, with a memorial service SATURDAY at 11a preceded with visitation an hour before at LAKEWOOD PARK BAPTIST CHURCH, also in AUBURN.
