Independent media agency KSL MEDIA is shutting their doors in NEW YORK and CALIFORNIA. The company filed for bankruptcy in CALIFORNIA on SEPT. 11th. MEDIAPOST reports, "The agency said in its Chapter 11 filing that it had in excess of $50 million in debt and over 200 creditors. The shop added that it had determined that 'restructuring efforts would not be successful,' and had thus decided to 'wind down' operations under the protection of Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy code."
KSL was founded in 1981 by KAL LEIBOWITZ. Clients included PETSMART, OMEGA and SWATCH.
