Entercom/Sacramento Adds To Staff

Javidan Mgr./Events, Selby Creative Dir.

ENTERCOM/SACRAMENTO has appointed JOHN JAVIDAN as Manager of Events and SHAD SELBY as Creative Dir. JAVIDAN starts on  MONDAY, OCTOBER 14th., while SELBY starts on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th.

"As we look for additional ways to monetize our relationship with our listeners more directly, events are natural fit for us," VP/Market Manager SEAN SHANNON said. "JOHN’s years developing events like DOWNTOWN TUESDAY NIGHTS, BERRYFEST and HARVEST FESTIVAL, combined with his experience running the PLACER COUNTY FAIR and ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY in ROSEVILLE make him an ideal candidate to help  us build out a full roster of both fully owned and partnership driven events for our family of brands.

"In his role as Creative Dir., SHAD will find himself squarely in the middle of our meatiest strategic projects," he continued. "shad has been charged with providing agency level work, from client strategy to creative execution. His background includes stops on our side of the fence at CBS and CHARTER MEDIA as well as a highly successful stint as the creative director at CROCKER/FLANAGAN.  SHAD’s creative talents, drive for client success and devotion to doing great work are just the combination we were looking for in our creative director.
