RENDA BROADCASTING AC WEJZ (LITE 96.1)/JACKSONVILLE, FL morning news and traffic anchor JIM BYARD is celebrating 36 years on the 96.1 frequency.

BYARD began his career with WKTZ in SEPTEMBER of 1977. The station later switched to WLCS and went through several owners prior to being purchased by  RENDA BROADCASTING in 1990.  JIM BYARD has been part of the station's morning show for over 30 years and also handles public affairs and Production Mgr. duties for the RENDA/JACKSONVILLE cluster.

JIM BYARD tells ALL ACCESS, "I love what I do, and I love the people I work with!  After 36 years I find that I'm still learning, and that's what keeps me going!"

WEJZ OM CHUCK BECK tells ALL ACCESS, "JIM has been here 36 years and he works 10 to 14 hours a day until the job is done. He only takes one or two days of vacation a year. He loves what he does for WEJZ and our three other stations in the RENDA/JACKSONVILLE cluster. He’s a valuable part of our morning show and is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. Plus, he’s one of the nicest guys you will ever meet."
