In other filings with the FCC, DODGE BROADCASTING, INC. has requested a Silent STA for WUFF-A/EASTMAN, GA due to transmitter problems.

CINECOM BROADCASTING SYSTEMS INC. has filed for a Silent STA for WYIS-A/MCRAE, GA due to transmitter problems.

BIRACH BROADCASTING CORP. has asked for a Silent STA for WPON-A/WALLED LAKE, MI while it builds its new facility.

RADIO VISION CRISTIANA MANAGEMENT has closed on the sale of WTOC-A/NEWTON, NJ to CENTRO BIBLICO OF NJ, INC. for $235,000 plus an LMA before closing.

L&L BROADCASTING has closed on its purchase of YMF MEDIA's six-station cluster in JACKSON, MS -- Urban AC WKXI, Urban WJMI, Sports WRKS, Talk WJNT-A (with an FM booster), Gospel WOAD-A and Oldies WJQS-A -- for $9.4 million.

And FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator K238AZ/ODESSA, TX to ICA RADIO LTD. for $50,000.  The station will rebroadcast Talk KCRS-A/MIDLAND; the same parties filed this week for the sale of a second translator, K248AR/STANTON, TX, for the same purpose.
