Congratulations to VALORY MUSIC artist JUSTIN MOORE and BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP execs SCOTT BORCHETTA and JIMMY HARNEN, along with VALORY VP/Promotion GEORGE BRINER, for MOORE’s “Off The Beaten Path” album debuting at #1 on this WEEK’s Country albums chart.
MOORE’s third full-length studio album sold 97,000 copies, his best-ever sales WEEK. MOORE’s 2011 “Outlaws Like Me” and 2009 self-titled album sold 65,000 and 34,000 respectively.
With these sales figures, MOORE also ranks #2 on the all-genre album sales chart, behind JACK JOHNSON’s “From Here To Now To You,” which moved 117,000 units.
And impressively for the format, MOORE is one of five Country artists in the Top 10 all-genre albums chart this week, joining CHRIS YOUNG’s “A.M.,” BILLY CURRINGTON’s “We Are Tonight,” LUKE BRYAN’s ‘Crash My Party” and KEITH URBAN’s “Fuse.”
But the week belongs to MOORE, as TODAY’s album figures follow the collection’s lead single, “Point At You,” which topped the MEDIABASE Country singles chart MONDAY (NET NEWS 9/23).
