Dave Hovel Steps Down At Renda/Ft. Myers

RENDA/FT. MYERS OM DAVE HOVEL is stepping down from the four-station cluster, which includes Country WWGR. He also handled day-to-day PD chores and afternoons at ‘WGR.

HOVEL joined RENDA in JUNE, after spending 24 years at DELMARVA BROADCASTING Country WXCY/WILIMINGTON, DE (NET NEWS 6/11).

HOVEL's final day will be FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11th; he then plans a return to BALTIMORE, but has not announced future plans. Reach him here.

No word from RENDA on plans for his successor.
