MUSEUM OF BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS Founder/Pres./CEO BRUCE DUMONT is recommending to the museum's board that it hire a GM or Executive Director to replace him as the day-to-day manager of the operation, reports ROBERTFEDER.COM. DUMONT told FEDER, however that he will continue in his role as Pres./CEO.
“I’ve been wearing all of the hats. I don’t think for the good of the institution that’s a good idea anymore,” DUMONT told FEDER. “We have to professionalize the staff in a variety of ways, and we should start with the person that’s coordinating the day-to-day operations. That’s not my strong suit, it’s not what I like to do, and there are far better people who can do that than I.”
