MIKE MCCONNELL's tenure at TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO is finally coming to an end after three months of being off the air and doing a streaming and podcast show.

ROBERTFEDER.COM reports that MCCONNELL, who joined WGN three years ago after a long run at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI, has agreed to a tentative settlement of the remaining two years of his contract that will free him to seek employment elsewhere.

MCCONNELL left the WGN lineup in JULY.
