CBS RADIO Sports KRLD-F (105.3 THE FAN)/DALLAS midday host CHRIS ARNOLD was not part of MONDAY's "G-BAG NATION" show he hosts with GAVIN DAWSON and MIKE BACSIK after he publicly admitted plagiarizing a writer's published work, the DALLAS MORNING NEWS reports. An entry he posted on the station's website, defending DALLAS COWBOYS QB TONY ROMO, contained copy previously posted by SCOTT KACSMAR on www.coldhardfootballfacts.com.
In a Twitter exchange between ARNOLD and KACSMAR, KACSMAR wrote, "Hey @MrChrisArnold, how about crediting my work instead of copy/paste and passing it off as your own? Thanks. ARNOLD responded, "major apologies for not crediting u for ur article. i looked over several sources for stats and data. u sir are trulyawesome." KACSMAR replied, "Well you had a problem earlier this week because there's absolutely no credit given for what I'd call 15 ripoff paragraphs." ARNOLD invited KACSMAR onto the show, but ARNOLD declined.
Station management and ARNOLD refrained from commenting on the story, as CBS RADIO was reported to be investigating the incident.
