NEAL ARDMAN’s BROADCAST PARTNERS’ recently acquired Classic Hits WJSJ/JACKSONVILLE flipped to Classic Country YESTERDAY (10/14), branding as “REAL COUNTRY 105.3” and touting itself as "JACKSONVILLE's home for all the great Country hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s."
Formerly owned by TAMA GROUP, WJSJ has been overseen by a receiver since 2009; ARDMAN’s company worked out a time brokerage agreement with an option to buy.
Market vet LEROY BOOMER, who previously worked at CLEAR CHANNEL crosstown Country WQIK, is said to be tapped for mornings.
