Nielsen Report: Second Quarter Ad Spending Up 3.5% Internationally

The latest NIELSEN Global AdView Pulse report shows a 3.5% year-to-year increase in ad spending for second quarter 2013 and a 2.8% increase for the first six months of the year. The growth was paced by marketers in LATIN AMERICA, where expenditures jumped 13.1% to $13.5 billion in the first six months, led by 30% growth in ARGENTINA.
NORTH AMERICA's ad expenditure growth stood at 2.7%, while all regions but EUROPE (down 6%) also showed growth.
