Fisher House Offers 'Veterans Day Programming Tool Kit'

FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, which provides housing for the families of wounded warriors at Veterans Administration hospitals, is offering a "VETERANS DAY Programming Tool Kit" free for radio stations.  The package includes VETERANS DAY-themed PSAs in :15, :30 and :60 lengths, a 30 minute public affairs show, and a list of guests available to discuss their military experience and how they were helped by FISHER HOUSE.

“VETERANS DAY is among the most sacred of American holidays,” said FISHER HOUSE Chairman KEN FISHER. “It takes on added meaning in a time when we are defended by an all-volunteer military that is engaged in hostilities overseas.  More than two million Americans have served in combat zones since 2001.  It’s only right that we take a day to acknowledge their service along with all of our military veterans.”
