REACH MEDIA national syndicated morning show host TOM JOYNER features his “Take A Loved One To The Doctor” campaign sponsored by WALMART, all week long. The campaign kicked off MONDAY, OCTOBER 21st and wraps up with the annual “Dr. Day” broadcast on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th. Each day during the week, the show will cover a specific health related issue with celebrity guests and doctors..
Listeners to the show will be able to text their health related questions to TOM JOYNER’s “Text Tom Club” to a different doctor each day. In addition, the “866 JOYNER 6” health care phone lines will be open on FRIDAY from 6 -10a ET and have specialists from OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER answer medical questions during the live broadcast.
Developed in 2002 to raise preventive health awareness in the African-American community, "Take A Loved One To The Doctor" has grown from one day to a full-fledged initative that impacts more than eight million listeners weekly.
