WFUV Releases ‘Live 16’ Station Benefit CD

FORDHAM UNIVERSITY Triple A WFUV/NEW YORK has unveiled FUV LIVE 16, its annual exclusive collection of songs recorded in the station’s Studio A.  The collection is being used as a premium in its current fall pledge drive

“Music discovery starts here,” said WFUV PD RITA HOUSTON, who has produced all 16 of the WFUV’s live compilations.  “That’s the theme of our fall drive, and that’s the basis for FUV LIVE 16.  It’s definitely our best ever, and it’s a reflection of where FUV is today and where we’re headed.”

Some the 19 artists featured on the disc include MUMFORD & SONS, PHOENIX, IRON & WINE, THE LUMINEERS, MAVIS STAPLES, THE MAVERICKS, THE LONE BELLOW, DIVINE FITS and DAUGHTER.
