GLENN BECK's THEBLAZE RADIO NETWORK will get a broadcast radio airing in PHILADELPHIA starting on OCTOBER 28th, but it's only for a week to introduce listeners to THEBLAZE RADIO PHILADELPHIA, a new, localized, live online talk stream tailored to the market.
BECK's online network will air its programming, along with BECK's own PREMIERE NETWORKS show, on MERLIN Talk WWIQ (IQ 106.9)/PHILADELPHIA, for the week of OCTOBER 28th in advance of the online version's NOVEMBER 4th debut. IQ 106.9, which will subsequently flip to Contemporary Christian once the sale to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION closes, will air BECK, then BUCK SEXTON noon-2p (ET), JAY SEVERIN 2-5p, and DOC THOMPSON 5-6p live from O'NEAL'S IRISH PUB in PHILADELPHIA.
The new stream will insert local news, weather and traffic into THEBLAZE RADIO NETWORK's existing lineup, including THOMPSON's morning show, BECK's syndicated show, PAT AND STU in middays, SEVERIN in afternoons, and simulcasts of BECK's video show and "REAL NEWS" from THEBLAZE TV. It will be available via theblaze.com and iHEARTRADIO.
