BROKEN BOW RECORDS’s JASON ALDEAN performed his 8th Annual "CONCERT FOR THE CURE" benefit show in the selected city of NEW ORLEANS (NET NEWS 10/4) on SATURDAY (10/26), raising more than $575,000 for the local SUSAN G. KOMEN affiliate.

Each year ALDEAN randomly chooses a market on his tour and donates that NIGHT’s ticket proceeds to the local KOMAN chapter. The funds go towards grants for breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs.

"NEW ORLEANS needs this money as badly as anyone right now," ALDEAN said during the show. "I can’t tell you how happy I am to give them this check!  Like pretty much everyone I know, I've lost someone I love to breast cancer and I don't want anyone else to have to go through that.  For all you ladies out there - we love the rack... save 'em, alright!"
