MURPHY BROADCASTING/MAD DOG WIRELESS owner RICK MURPHY plans to run for Governor of ARIZONA as an independent, reports CAPITOL MEDIA SERVICES.
MURPHY filed his paperwork for the election on THURSDAY (10/31), dropping his Republican affiliation to make the run as a moderate and avoid the crowded GOP primary. He owns a cluster of stations in the LAKE HAVASU CITY area.
