CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK morning hosts BOOMER ESIASON and CRAIG CARTON have designed the menu for a concession stand at BARCLAYS CENTER in BROOKLYN, home of the NBA's BROOKLYN NETS.
The BOOMER AND CARTON KITCHEN opens TONIGHT (11/1) for the NETS' regular season home opener against the MIAMI HEAT, with the hosts doing the ribbon-cutting at 7p (ET). The menu includes "Boom Doggy Dog," a NATHAN’s Hot Dog with smothered onions, spicy cheese sauce and crisp bacon; "The Chubby Chaser," a burger with chicken tenders and fries on a brioche bun; the "Lobster Monster" sandwich; the "C-BOM Sandwich," roast beef; "CARTON’s Kitchen Chicken"; "FU PHILLY Fries," NATHAN's fries with Old Bay seasoning (known in CARTON's former radio home of PHILADELPHIA as "Crab Fries"); and "Boomer Booghie Fries," with truffle and parmesan cheese seasoning.
“We are thrilled to bring the WFAN brand and our taste for great food to the world class BARCLAYS CENTER,” the hosts said in a press statement. “Since starting our morning show in 2007, we’ve easily gained 50 pounds between the two of us. Clearly we know what tastes good and what people like to eat. BOOMER AND CARTON KITCHEN will be a great extension of our show and an amazing partnership for years to come with BARCLAYS CENTER.”
