BELL MEDIA Hot AC CJFM (VIRGIN RADIO 96)/MONTREAL's annual "SHAVE TO SAVE" has raised $161,000 to benefit QUEBEC BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION.
VIRGIN RADIO visited over 20 offices and 10 schools and shaved the heads of more than 30 adults and 13 kids. VIRGIN RADIO 96 had the support of THE MONTREAL ALOUETTES with NICOLAS shaving his long locks, and teammate MARTIN BEDARD shaved Brand Director MARK BERGMAN's head at the ALOUETTE’s recent "PINK GAME."
CTV entertainment reporter CHRISTINE LONG shaved her head on live radio and TV and singer JASON DERULO shaved VIRGIN RADIO personality TONY STARK’s head, live on air. To watch the video, click here.
JASON DERULO commented, "Cancer has been hitting my family pretty hard this year. Anything I can do to help, I’m always, always there!"
