The syndicated “BIG D AND BUBBA SHOW” celebrated VETERAN’s DAY TODAY (11/11) by teaming with THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS to help raise money for the organization.
During the broadcast, listeners were encouraged to donate $10 by texting HERO to 90999
Among the show’s guests were Mr. RICHARD ARVINE OVERTON, a WORLD WAR II vet believed to be the oldest living vet in the U.S., at 107 years old.
The show also featured artist CHARLIE DANIELS, a longtime, ardent supporter of the U.S. and its veterans; actor LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS, who serves as the official national spokesperson of the VFW and VFW Adjutant General JOHN HAMILTON .
