540 ESPN/Milwaukee's Steve 'The Homer' True Critically Injured In Car Crash

GOOD KARMA BROADCASTING Sports WAUK-A (540 ESPN)/MILWAUKEE afternoon host and MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY basketball broadcaster STEVE "THE HOMER" TRUE is in critical condition at FROEDTERT HOSPITAL in MILWAUKEE after his was hit by a drunk driver this morning, according to a report at ABC affiliate WISN-TV.

TRUE's car, which MILWAUKEE police said had the right of way at a traffic light, was t-boned by the other car.  The other driver was arrested in the incident.  TRUE, whose show with MITCH NELLES, "HOMER AND THUNDER,"  also airs on sister WTLX (100.5 ESPN)/MADISON, is reported to have suffered a "serious head injury" in the accident.  MATT SALMON filled in for TRUE on today's show.
