CLEAR CHANNEL Country KSSN/LITTLE ROCK will be the next affiliate for PREMIERE’s syndicated “THE BOBBY BONES SHOW” in mornings, effective THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2014.
BONES succeeds 34-year KSSN morning man, BOB ROBBINS, who will remain with the cluster as he segues to Classic Country sister, KMJX (105.1 THE WOLF), also on JANUARY 2nd.
“It's been a great 34 years helping to build one of AMERICA's leading radio stations and I’ve loved every minute of being on KSSN," said ROBBINS. "I’m looking forward to moving over to THE WOLF 105.1 to play the Country music that’s been a large part of my career. I still love KSSN and wish BOBBY BONES and all my friends and radio family there, continued success."
ROBBINS has been a fixture on the station since its launch in 1979 and is a 2008 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee. He is also a past MARCONI and CMA Personality of the Year honoree. ROBBINS’ partner, JENNIFER TRAFFORD will join him on the move to THE WOLF.
“I know BOB is excited to move to 105.1 THE WOLF, creating the next chapter in his life and radio career,” said CLEAR CHANNEL/LITTLE ROCK Market Manager RON COLLAR. “He has been the mainstay on KSSN for 34 years and we appreciate everything he’s done for us.”
Current WOLF Morning host TJ PHILLIPS will be moved to 10a-12p (CT) to make room for ROBBINS and TRAFFORD; BOB PICKETT continues 12n-6p.
