ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to family, friends and co-workers of FOREVER BROADCASTING Country WFGY/ALTOONA, PA morning host STEVE “FROGMAN” KELSEY, who died YESTERDAY (11/17) after suffering a stroke. He was 56.
FOREVER/ALTOONA OM DONNA HIMES is quoted in the ALTOONA MIRROR, calling KELSEY, “Irreplaceable … He not only was our beloved morning announcer. He was part of weddings and teen dances spanning several generations, and loved community service and visiting the 'tadpoles' in schools ... our hearts are broken.”
KELSEY anchored "THE FROGGY FAMILY BREAKFAST CLUB" morning show alongside KELLIE GREEN. He’d been with WFGY since the station’s 1992 launch but had been an on-air personality in the market since the 1970’s.
FROGGY aired a tribute to KELSEY during TODAY’s (11/18) morning show.
