As tipped MONDAY (NET NEWS 11/18) on ALL ACCESS, SUMMIT MEDIA Southern Adult Hits WZNN (Y’ALL 97.3)/BIRMINGHAM has flipped formats, and is now AC as "EASY 97-3," and will "focus on the underserved 40+ audience with relaxing, refreshing favorites.” The station will feature artists including NEIL DIAMOND, BILLY JOEL, SIMON & GARFUNKEL, FLEETWOOD MAC, CARLY SIMON, THE POLICE, CHICAGO, THE BEATLES and many more.

CEO CARL PARMER commented, “We’ve recently conducted extensive market research which showed how little radio programming caters to the affluent over-40 listener. These 'Alpha Boomers' represent annual spending power of over $7,000,000.”
