KLLY Provides Thanksgiving Dinner For Local Homeless

Congratulations to the staff at BUCKLEY Top 40 KLLY/BAKERSFIELD.  Air talent SNACKS and DJ NOKTURNAL conducted a food drive all last week, broadcasting live from atop BAKERSFIELD NISSAN, where they solicited donations of turkeys, which were donated to the BAKERSFIELD HOMELESS CENTER.  In the end, a total of 140 birds were donated.

KLLY PD DANNY HILL told ALL ACCESS, "I'm so proud of our staff and promotions team! We didn't give away anything, we just collected. The BAKERSFIELD HOMELESS CENTER houses over 100 children a night. SNACKS and NOKTURNAL even donated their time on SUNDAY (11/24) to help feed the homeless they had collected for all week!  A rooftop remote is one of the most difficult remotes you can do, but it went perfectly, due to the hard work and effort of SNACKS and DJ NOKTURNAL along with the supporting cast of everyone in promotions, sales and on-air. Not to mention the goodwill of our local citizens.  This is a proud moment for KLLY 95.3 and for BUCKLEY BAKERSFIELD."
