ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS Active Rock KISW/SEATTLE is partnering with The WASHINGTON State Council of Firefighters to raise awareness for their Operation Warm, Firefighters Coats for Kids Program. The BJ SHEA Morning Experience is asking listeners to help donate money to put 1,000 brand new, American-made coats on children in need this holiday season.
Donations are accepted at www.OperationWarm.com/KISW. Just $32 will help a child in need in the PUGET SOUND area this holiday season.
"Coats are something many of us take for granted," said BJ SHEA, host of the BJ SHEA Morning Experience. "Unfortunately, for some children, it's the number one thing on their holiday wish list. We are honored to assist Washington’s brave firefighters in helping to bring coats to those children in need."
Since 2012, firefighters across the country have partnered with Operation Warm to help poverty-stricken children in their communities receive brand new coats for the holidays. For more about Operation Warm, visit www.operationwarm.org or KISW at www.KISW.com.
