FEDERATED MEDIA News-Talk WOWO-A-F/FORT WAYNE morning news producer LOREN GARDNER proposed to his girlfriend, Country WQHK (K105) midday host HEATHER CRUISE (BUREAU) on SATURDAY, but did it in a surprise manner: after she sang the National Anthem at the FORT WAYNE KOMETS minor league hockey game.
After HEATHER sang the anthem, she turned to discover LOREN on one knee with a microphone, asking her to marry him. (She said yes....) The special moment has been memoriaized on video; watch the question being popped by clicking here.
