KFDI Holds Christmas 'Adoption' For Underprivileged Children

Volunteers Answer Phones During 'Crusade For Children' Event

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP Country KFDI/WICHITA held its 39th Annual "CHRISTMAS CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN" on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26th and WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27th.

The event was in an effort to "adopt" underprivileged children, in an effort to give them a magical CHRISTMAS. Listeners were asked to call the station to receive the name of a child, along with their wish list. Listeners will then drop off their new, unwrapped gifts to the KFDI studio.

All told, 1,025 children were "adopted" from the two-day event.
