CBS RADIO Top 40/Rhythmic WLLD (WiLD 94.1)/TAMPA has announced its 2nd annual ORLANDO'S TOY DRIVE. During a tree lighting ceremony to kick off the toy drive on DECEMBER 8, WiLD 94.1 PD and morning show host ORLANDO DAVIS will be lifted to the top of TOY DRIVE TOWER, where he'll live for five nights and six days to help collect donations for the children and families of the TAMPA BAY community.
All donations collected will benefit THE CHILDREN'S HOME, a non-profit organization, which serves as a sanctuary to abused, neglected or abandoned children in the TAMPA BAY community. New, unwrapped toys, bicycles and gift cards will all be accepted during the 2nd ANNUAL ORLANDO'S TOY DRIVE.
In a press release, WLLD PD/morning host ORLANDO DAVIS commented, "This event is an awesome sight to see, when families, business leaders, and even young children are giving to help those in our community, who are in need. A toy drive has been something that we've always wanted to put together and now going into year two, I can't see us not taking this opportunity to help THE CHILDREN’S HOME do their great work,"
THE CHILDREN'S HOME Pres./CEO IRENE RICKUS added, "We are always overwhelmed by the generosity of our community to help THE CHILDREN'S HOME. We sincerely appreciate everything that WiLD 94.1 is doing to help the most vulnerable children and families in our community. These gifts will make an enormous difference for many families this year."
